This weekend, we will have a little garden party and are inviting anyone who is interested to come help plant seeds for the 2000m² field in Berlin.

We will be planting wheat, barley, oats, carrots, turnips, Jerusalem artichockes, potatoes and onions. There will be coffee and hot soup…

The field is located at: SpeiseGut, Kladower Damm 57, 14089 Berlin
Here is how you get there: Take the Bus 134 from S+U Bhf Rathaus Spandau into direction ‘Hottengrund’, and get off at
‘Am Graben’. Or take the Ferry F10 Wannsee to ‘Alt-Kladow’ and from there the Bus 134 to stop ‘Am Graben’.
(If you use your smartphone to navigate, it might be easier to use ‘Havelmathensteig 17’ as the address. Click here for the route on Google Maps.)

Christian Heymann is hosting the field on his farm Speisegut, where he runs a number of projects which support regional, ecological and responsible agriculture including a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture).

You can find more information about the event in German here or check out the Facebook event. If you have any questions, Ben will be happy to help! Just drop him a line:

We hope to see you there!
