“Wandelwoche” (Transformation Week) on the Global Field

Thursday 7 September saw the third “Wandelwoche” (Transformation Week) take place in Berlin offering visitors a colourful programme on stage, a market of possibilities, and workshops in the Prinzessinnengärten (Princess Gardens). And the 2000m² Global Field was of course taking part. At a colorful information desk, visitors could get to know the Global Field and our upcoming events. A wheel of fortune was waiting for our Little guests, who could win small prices and test their knowledge (or the one of their parents). For a well-deserved break, delicious food was waiting at the Urban-Gardening-Kitchen, with most ingredients self-grown. At dusk, there was no lack of  live music.

All projects and businesses taking part in the “Wandelwoche” have one thing in common – they are committed to working towards a good life for everyone and their aim is to think about different economic options and rethink business as usual. A guided tour of our Global Field was therefor given on 11 September at 5 pm at the IGA (International Garden Exhibition).

We thank our visitors and are looking forward to next year!
