2000 m² for everyone!
How will we feed ourselves tomorrow? It’s a question of area: each person would get 2000 m² if we were to divide the global arable land equally. With the 2000 m² Global Field (Weltacker), we convey a feeling for our own role in global agriculture. We reduce global challenges to a human scale and thus make them practically workable. Because I can build a relationship with “my” 2000 m² and take responsibility for it.
The international Weltacker movement consists of numerous initiatives that are committed to sustainable agriculture at Weltacker educational spaces around the globe. In the meantime, a movement has grown out of the many local projects. The coordination office of the Foundation on Future Agriculture initiates the exchange and cooperation of the Global Fields.
